Please refer to page 74 - 77 in the textbook to write out your own recipe instructions in two different ways: one for a recipe card or book and the other the way you would give the instructions in an oral presentation. Please have this completed for Wednesday.

My apologies for not posting the homework: I had a family emergency to tend to, and I had to leave school quite suddenly. The homework was pages 94, 95 and 97. Most students completed the work. If you're ever away, come and check the whiteboard in my room for work missed as an alternate source of information about the class.

Today we went over the review sheets and played some review games. Remember to review the correct spelling and accents. Use the index in your cahier to find the topics or notes you need to review for the test, which will be on Thursday and will cover all the material we have done up to today. You MAY NOT write the test unless your review sheets are completed. You will need to find a friend and copy out the questions and answers if you've misplaced them. A few of you have assignments or quizzes that are incomplete. Please come to see me about missing work.

Today we began with a sheet to review the objects in the classroom; students then prepared for and listened to a listening exercise. Finally, they wrote a quiz on time, objects in the classroom, and places and subjects at school.
Students were given review sheets, which they should complete, one page a day, by Tuesday of next week. They will write their chapter test on Thursday, Nov. 15.
Try to answer all that you can without looking at your cahier. Only after you've tried on your own, look at the cahier for things you may have missed.

After going over page 66, we brainstormed verbs to use in sentences (about things we do at school) as well as places and subjects. Students wrote these on the board and we created a chart that looked something like the document attached. Please use your cahier, the ideas from the chart and a dictionary (only if you absolutely need it) to write 6 sentences (in French, of course!) about what you do at school. For those of you who were in class, you are reading over the notes on time on pages 67 to 69 and then completing page 70.
